I recently redid a design I originally made on my third semester of Graphic Design, Technology and Business at UCN, Aalborg. Let me take you through the proces.
I went out to search for the perfect-looking cigarette butt and photographed it. Then I searched through fonts to select one that matched the theme and size.
I placed the text. Each word in individual boxes to achieve a raw look while filling the shape of the cigarette butt.
I added a dark grey background between the picture layer and the text layer. Then I clicked "minus front", and there it was.
